Where did March go? Wow.
So whats new? Well, I have a *ton* of stuff I want to write about, so hopefully I'll get around to it.
First - Cold Wars!
Coldwars was great. I tought a bunch of hour long workshops and met some really great people. Things went well, and I'll hopefully be writing up some doccuments for Historicon. We had people partake in our speed painting contest - where everyone is given 1 hour to paint the same figure (now if we can only get people to enter the big painting contest). I also spend too much money.
Ordered from Venexia - Bloody brilliant models. Should post a review soon.
Ordered from Mirliton USA - Again, great models. Should post a review soon.
Ordered from Litko Aerosystems - Woot! Love their stuff. Yes. Expect a full review.
I've been painting up some pulp figures so I can start running pulp games in my local area, and I'm pretty psyched about this. Lots of new .45 Adventures stuff comming out as well.

The guy posted above is a Jack the Ripper figure I painted a few months back to experiment with highlighting black. I don't think I care too much for using grey and will instead perhaps use blues and the like, like I did with The Shadow.
The highlights are much more subtle here and I think they work much better. Unfortunately, the picture isn't the greatest either - so I'll have to work on that. I've got his assistant done, and with a few more gangsters, I think I have a gang. My next big project is making some urban terrain to play with. :)
OK, cheers! I'll try to be much better about updating. Promise!
